Our Story

Where Did It All Begin.....

Back in 2020 when the world was going crazy, with lockdowns and Covid-19. I was battling my own unique medical issues, I am a type 1 Diabetic. And just as 2020 hit, I was diagnosed with Graves Disease, Diabetic Retinopathy and Maculopathy. These are conditions that affect the eyes, and that can cause blindness. I had to stop work for 18 months to have treatment for these conditions. The treatment was experimental as treating one condition would adversely effect the other.  Meaning weekly hospital visits alone and not knowing when I came out of the hospital, if I would have lost my sight completely.

This was a very scary time, my mental health took a nose dive and I was barely leaving the house. Then came along Percy, my handsome, precious, stubborn little dachshund pup! He saved my life. He helped me regain my confidence and the unconditional love that he gave me, was the strength I needed to rebuild my life.

After a lot of treatment and cuddles with Percy, I am proud to say that although I am officially partially sighted. I haven't lost all my sight! I did loose a lot of my peripheral vision in both eyes and have limited movement in my right eye, and still to this day have bleeds that cover my retina.  BUT I can still see! With all this going on I need to find something to focus on, challenge and channel the way I use my eyes in a different way.

I have always loved baking, and decorating treats, so that's what I did, but this time for Percy. 

Percy is a super fussy, treat snob. All the supermarket or pet shop biscuits we bought him - he was just not interested in! When I looked the back of the packets at the amount of additives or extra stuff that didn't need to be them. I was shocked! 

I wanted to make sure the treats he was eating were all natural, not processed, grain free and no nasty stuff! So I started to make my own. Percy absolutely loves them! We tried them out of Percy's paw pals and everyone loved them! We hope you do too!  

So thats where Percy's Pawfect Pantry began.

Where are we now.....

Now, we are a small UK homebased dog treat business, specialising in Celebration treats, for Birthdays, Gotcha Days, Christmas, Easter, Halloween and everything in-between.  

All our products are grain free, preservative free and yummy - just ask Percy!

We bake everything to order with natural fresh ingredients, whole fruit, real cheese and use special sugar free dog friendly icing. All our treats are handmade and decorated in our kitchen. Made with love and are the pawfect way to say I woof you on any occasion!
